Abstract
In this paper, the PMMA-DPS GI POF rod with 25 mm diameter 10 cm length was obtained by interfacial-gel polymerization technique, which refractive index distribution was measured by special end-face reflection method. The mechanism of the preparation and the regularities of the refractive index distribution were discussed. The polymerization rate is considered to be the key role to form the optimum refractive index distribution of GI POF rod.
