Abstract
The paper deals with the analysis of the best feeding strategy that must be imposed on flat machines with radial windings in order to achieve some optimal operating targets. The analysed magnetic configuration seems to be the most suitable in the field of magnetic mini-machines whose armature conductors are etched on a insulated support. In these cases, because of the parallel linking of different bars, the thermal and electrodynamical stresses are nonhomogeneous and they might compromise the structure integrity. Another consequence is the strong presence of a torque ripple. In this paper, some criteria of optimal feeding are investigated in order to limit previous problems
