Abstract :
The goal of this paper is to point out the important role of the of human capital and information and communication technologies (ICT) areas to identify the opportunities appearing in the knowledge-based economy. The presented concept is a results of research that were carried out concerning the adaptation of the enterprises´ management systems to the knowledge-based economy requirements. The research were conducted also in manufacturing enterprises which are essential for the robotics. The research allowed to evaluate the potential changes and susceptibility of the organization related to the human capital and ICT. The result of this evaluation concerns the identification both the features of human capital and ICT which block or favor absorbing the opportunities from the environment.
