  • Abstract
    The development and test of algorithms for an unmanned helicopter is a risky task, as the machine requires a reliable control system. To help this work, a software prototype was built that simulates in real time the aircraft behavior. This prototype allows piloting the simulated helicopter in real time, and it is a tool to develop new algorithms and to assess the behavior of the control algorithm in the target computer. This work presents the main characteristics of the system and its use in four different applications
