Abstract :
A new method to evaluate the frequency reuse efficiency for the reverse link of cellular CDMA systems is presented. This method is based on a traffic linearization and decomposition process and on some standard curves with which partial reuse efficiencies are obtained and added conveniently to yield the final parameter. The method incorporates a substantial improvement from that in d´Avila and Yacoub (1998) and can be applied to different propagation environments and a generic traffic distribution. It is easy to implement, the results are exact and are produced in a way faster than in the other methodologies
