Abstract
Summary form only given. During this presentation, for the first time to the best of our knowledge, we propose a completely new mechanism for THz generation. Indeed we show that it is possible to use an electron beam to pump Ge-Si multilayers for efficiently generating narrow-linewidth THz waves based on transition radiation from each interface.
