Abstract

We have investigated the long term reliability of a polymer insulators. Especially, we need to grasp the discharge form of the leakage current in various outdoor exposure sites, and thus construct a database for different contaminated environments. In this paper, we have constructed a measurement system which can make automatic remote monitoring of leakage current data using the Internet. We have applied the system to a field test.
