Results of Evaluation Tests on a New ANA Design

Extensive results have been obtained from evaluation tests performed on an ANA System of new design. The new ANA System uses two Dual-Four-Port measurement circuits to cover the 0.1-2.6 GHz and 2.0-18.0 GHz frequency bands. The new system also applies the new Multichannel Digital-Vector-Voltmeter (MDVVM) method that simultaneously compares the magnitudes and phases of many microwave sinewave signals, through a process of synchronous sampling, digitization and least-squares-fitting. The results obtained confirm the performance improvements expected from the new ANA design and anticipate a vastly expanded potential performance, soon to be attained as new hardware and software features are added.
