Abstract :
A review of recent developments in triggering and data acquisition was presented. In particular, developments, status, and trends of current HEP experiments are discussed; covering both hardware based and software based triggering techniques. This overview talk will draw heavily from the RT2003 conference that took place in Montreal, May 18-23, 2003.
