Abstract
We introduce a new batching policy called look-ahead-maximize-batch (LAMB) which maximizes the number of admitted users in a VoD server in a certain time window. We show that LAMB admits the highest number of users among all existing batching policies, we also demonstrate that adopting batching is preferable than adopting piggybacking
