Abstract
This paper discusses the simulation and analysis study of the South-West Libyan electric power system. The main problem facing this system is the frequent voltage sags and occasional power interruptions of the supply which adversely affect the customer´s loads. The paper presents results of analysis and simulation for all possible contingencies that cause voltage instability on this part of the Libyan power system network.
