PLANA/2.0 - New Control Software for the HP-8409 Network Analyzer System

PLANA/2.0 is an extensive controlling software package for the Hewlett-Packard 8409 netvork analyzer system, designed to run on the HP-1000 or A-series computers. It is highly interactive and user-friendly, incorporating extensive help facilities for on-line information about program operation. PLANA/2.0 provides for hardware calibration, device measurements, network de-embedding, time domain transformations, data listing and plotting, and data file management. The control software can support a variety of hardware configurations in addition to the standard HP-8409C instrumentation. The various graphics devices supported provide black and vhite or the software to a particular hardvare environment is accomplished via simple program commands.
