Abstract :
Recently, the Global Positioning System (GPS) has been adapted for use in many applications. However, the system suffers from blind spots where its electronic waves are unable at present, to penetrate such as the inside of buildings, underground garages, and tunnels. Consequently, further research to solve this problem is of some importance. This article suggests that, position-detection technology using Radio Frequency (RF) will enhance the accuracy of position detection in blind spots and support the portability of the reference node, the existing position-detection technology, in an ad-hoc environment.
