Abstract :
Owing to the popularization of smart mobile devices, various services are emerging which require some involvement and collaboration of not only individuals but also a group of people. In this situation the multiple-criteria group decision making (MCDM) problem often occurs. The classical MCDM approaches are quite limited to be applied to real life problems because of incompleteness and uncertainty of the target problem. This paper thus extends a representative MCDM solution, the technique ordered preference by similarity to the ideal solution (TOPSIS), by employing the grey relation model with interval grey number and entropy. A case study is given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed scheme, and a comparison with TOPSIS is shown to display its efficiency.
