Abstract :
L-3 Communications Electron Technologies Inc., (L-3 ETI), is expected to complete space-flight qualification in mid-2014 for a 150 to 300-W K-band helix traveling-wave tube (TWT) capable of over 3 GHz instantaneous bandwidth. This paper will discuss the TWT performance, manufacturing and flight qualification test plans.
