  • Abstract
    CPI has recently built a Ka-band Coupled Cavity Traveling Wave Tube. Device could not reach designed saturation due to the onset of drive induced oscillation. Device was later modeled using NRL (Naval Research Laboratory, USA) 1-D large-signal code called Christine-CC and code prediction correlated well with measured data for DIO. Code was also used for the first time to predict condition for DC oscillation applying DIO algorithm.
