Abstract :
Facing the great challenge of global warming, major developed country and regions have achieved social consensus of developing low-carbon economy. Low-carbon economy will not only be the direction of the future world economic development structure, but also one of the new pillars of the world economy. To take a commanding point in the global economic competition, China needs to understand the serious damage of high carbon economy to ecosystem and environment, and to gradually establish an industrial system and consumption system in line with the low-carbon economy. It should formulate emergency management strategy, and lead the transformation of industries and consumption through economic means, for the development of the low-carbon economy.
