Abstract
Block line codes can be generated by using multirate digital filters. The power spectrum of these codes is null at certain frequencies. The multirate filter is described by a matrix. This matrix determines the frequencies where a null in the spectrum occurs. Several examples of block line codes, obtained in this way, are given
