Abstract :
A 0.22 THz wideband travelling-wave tube amplifier based on the double corrugated waveguide is proposed. The easy assembling and interaction properties of the double corrugated waveguide have been exploited in forward wave regime demonstrating wide band amplification. About 15 dB gain over a 30 GHz frequency bandwidth has been obtained with a slow wave structure length of 90 periods.
