Abstract :
In this paper, we analyze the coaxial line, which one or both electrodes have radial grooves, forming ribs. Such "ribbed" coaxial line represents a slow-wave structure (SWS), which characteristics depend on radiuses of the electrodes and the grooves\´ depth. Analysis of such complex SWS is significantly simplified in the case of relatively low frequencies, the case, which is the most interesting for the practical application of the elements fabricated from the "ribbed coaxial line".
