Abstract :
A folded rectangular groove waveguide (FRGWG) slow wave structure (SWS) for 140 GHz traveling wave tube (TWT) has been investigated in this paper. The radio frequency characteristics and beam-wave interaction of the structure are calculated. The calculation results show that such amplifier can potentially be used in high power millimeter/THz wave radiation source, and a large dimension circle electron beam tunnel is suit for this structure.
