Abstract :
An electron optics system for G-band sheet beam klystron was designed. A rectangle electron gun was designed to produce a 16.5-kV 580-mA sheet electron beam with a rectangle cross section of 2.5mm × 0.12mm. In this paper, the transport process in uniform solenoidal magnetic field was simulated, the electron beam transmission attained 100% over 15mm in distance with a fill factor that is less than 0.5.
