  • Abstract
    This paper proposes two types of optimal TCM decoder for satellite communications. The first type is a speed up TCM decoder which has a faster decoding speed, the second is a memory reduction TCM decoder which reduces the decoder memory complexity. This paper shows by Monte-Carlo simulation that the proposed decoders are more efficient than any other conventional decoder
