Abstract
We present the first experimental demonstration of simultaneous monitoring of firstorder PMD with random power-split and chromatic dispersion using asynchronous delay-tap sampling, in a commercial 10 Gbit/s WDM test-bed. Accuracies achieved were plusmn3.1 ps and plusmn17 ps/nm.
