Abstract :
According to the body structure characteristics of transporter for large-scale wind turbine blade and the deficiency of traditional steering system, a new trailer steering system was designed. The mathematical model of steering system was established, then it was optimized by MATLAB optimization toolbox. The application of the optimized system improves the steer performance. The design and optimization scheme has been proved to be feasible by engineering practice in a special vehicle factory.
