Abstract :
Analog test functionality is best incorporated into ATE through use of virtual instrumentation. Real-life applications have shown that simultaneously testing at speed, bandwidth and resolution is unreasonably difficult unless such instrumentation is designed with continuously variable analog scaling and differential connection with the measured world. This paper presents instrument capabilities and associated test strategies which are facilitated by continuously variable, differential analog design
