Abstract :
In this letter we show the effect of rotation of two oscillators on the sensitivity performance of two SAW coupled oscillator sensor configuration. The dependence of synchronization frequencies on the frequency detuning between the two counter-rotating oscillators, the insertion loss and delay of the coupling SAW delay line are analysed. The sensitivity for SAW coupled counter-rotating oscillators system is compared with SAW coupled co-rotating oscillator system for the similar range of system parameters to understand the effect of rotation of oscillators. The preliminary analyses show that the rotation direction of the two oscillators in a SAW coupled oscillators system emerges several interesting features to make this system more appropriate for sensor applications.
