Abstract
Automated guided vehicles (AGV) are driverless vehicles typically used in a manufacturing environment for material handling and transport. In this paper, an intelligent AGV is designed and implemented to transport parts to different locations. The AGV is controlled by a microcontroller and a sonar system which make the proposed AGV reliable, robust, and adaptable to different environments
