Abstract
Design, implementation, and performance evaluation of a real-time controller for diesel engines are presented in this paper. The controller uses glow plugs as active combustion sensors in diesel engines. The proposed approach gives a real-time fuel combustion control to achieve optimal engine performance and to reduce air pollution. Hardware design and implementation of the controller are given
