Abstract :
The performance of OFDM is improved by pre-coding data symbols in the frequency domain. However, it is not desirable that additive noise on the specific carrier whose signal-to-noise ratio is very low may degrade total system performance. Iterative detection of pre-coded OFDM has already been proposed to overcome this problem. In this paper, theoretical analysis of detection of pre-coded OFDM is performed in order to achieve optimal detection. As the result of analysis, some condition that achieves better performance has been derived.
