Abstract
We investigated through simulations the minimum needed guard-band for the allocation of 111 Gbit/s coherent PM-QPSK WDM channels on legacy 10 Gbit/s IMDD WDM fiber links. For 2 dB penalty, results indicate 400 GHz (SMF) and 600 GHz (NZDSF).
