Abstract :
In this paper, a broadband Wireless Power Transfer (WPT) system through novel conformal Strongly Coupled Magnetic Resonance (SCMR) is proposed. Theoretical analysis of the conformal SCMR is studied based on equivalent circuit and system network. Compared with the conventional SCMR system, the novel conformal SCMR system can significantly broaden the bandwidth, achieving more than 7 times of the conventional one. To verify the proposed method, a typical broadband WPT system is fabricated, measured, and compared with simulation result. With large bandwidth and good power transfer efficiency, this design has great potential to be used in various applications.
