Abstract
Correct localization of implanted markers represents a crucial step in robot-assisted surgery for the registration of CT-based computer models and the real world. While in the real world we can organize a suitable precise tactile searching by the robot arm, in the virtual image we can not rely only on the operator´s judgement and skill. This paper describes our interactive approach to the correct localization of registration points on 3D computer images
