Abstract
The paper describes how technology, the work requirements, and the conditions of today´s economy have made telecommuting an alternative to working at the office. It explores the conditions for telecommuting as well as the advantages and disadvantages of working from home. It also describes the author´s personal experience in telecommuting, which has been very positive, thanks to a supportive employer
