Abstract :
Optimal imaging profiles and the advantages of higher kVp were established experimentally for imaging of single leg separations in Bjork-Shiley Convexo-Concave heart valves using a phantom simulator. These techniques were applied in a subsequent clinical study, which demonstrated the feasibility of in situ radiographic single leg separation detection
