Abstract
A human visual system model, foveation, is used to provide user-oriented video scalability, which benefits those applications concerning user´s regions of interest. Based on processing FGS-coded (fine granularity scalable coded) videos, we show that the proposed method has tolerable complexity and is standard compliant.
