Abstract :
Special face modeling functions included in VRML´s IndexedFaceSet node have been discussed in this paper. Mainly, paper introduced some unusual fields for building special face model, including texCoord and texCoordIndex field, normal and normalIndex field, also normalPerVertex field, as well as convex and creaseAngle field. Secondly, paper researched application methods for extraordinary face object modeling and rendering. Finally, other particular techniques for constructing VRML´s complex object muster, like ElevationGrid and Extrusion node, are stated briefly.
