Abstract
Mathematical analysis method based on equation will encounter in a little difficulties hard to overcome when conducting combat experiments, while the artificial life modeling and simulation approach is a new system modeling and simulation method. In this paper, the latest developments of the field of artificial life have been explored. the basic theory of artificial life, modeling methods and modeling tools have been specially studied on. Based on the thought of artificial life, combined with genetic algorithm, the operational experiments in two-dimensional grid environment and three-dimensional MGIS environment have been studied. The results can provide a reference for the expansion of artificial life and evolutionary computation for operational experiments field.
