Design and maintenance integration model is presented to provide diagnosis and maintenance knowledge of ship. The design and maintenance integration BOM model can produce design BOM view and maintenance BOM view by mapping of design and maintenance integration BOM model. Firstly, the structure of design and maintenance integration model is given, and design BOM view and maintenance BOM view are described. Secondly, design BOM view and maintenance BOM view are described. The structure of product maintenance expresses the function relationship of different layers in the structure of product and maintenance layer relationship, and the maintenance knowledge of the node in the structure of product maintenance includes replaceable component and failure knowledge. Finally, the system based on the maintenance BOM model which derives from design and maintenance integration model is realized.
