The impact on national economy of TD based on the input-output table

This paper studies the impact on national economy of TD. Firstly, using the method of qualitative analysis, the paper analyses TD´s contribution to GDP, China´s information technology and development of independent innovation briefly. Secondly, based on the input-output table of 2007, using the method of quantitative analysis, this paper makes quantities measurement of TD´s pulling and pushing effect on national economy, verifying some conclusions obtained from the qualitative analysis. In 2007, TD´s pushing effect on GDP is 70.19 billion Yuan and the pulling effect is 35.05 billion Yuan. It is obviously that TD-SCDMA has great impact on GDP, which is more a “provider” than a “consumer”. At last, due to the qualitative and quantitative analysis, the paper gives out some policy recommendations to promote sound and rapid development of TD.
