  • Abstract
A wide-bandwidth frequency-hopped spread-spectrum UHF radio biomedical interface is discussed. The interface allows two-way patient voice link, input/output patient physiologic links, and a physician/paramedic two-way voice command link. A simple UHF transceiver is worn by the patient. The signals are received by a fixed transceiver interfaced to an appropriate monitoring function
