Abstract :
In this paper, an efficient Full-Reference (FR) video quality metric for evaluating the quality of three-dimensional (3D) video generated by Depth Image-Based Rendering (DIBR) technology is proposed. The proposed color quality metric (CQM) is presented by availably using the color video and rigorous mathematical algorithm. The experiment shows that the proposed color quality metric has a better correlation with the subjective quality metric score than the other quality metrics (SSIM and Perceptual Quality Metric (PQM)), and has the potential to realize the application to end-users.
