Abstract
Describes a method for using multiple regions of interest to register the digital subtraction angiography images. For each region of interest (ROI) placed on the mask image, similarity measures are optimized to determine the best sub-pixel x and y shifts. A figure of merit is calculated for each ROI and used to determine the best pixel shift vector for the entire image. Preliminary results indicate that the method is robust
