Abstract
A major objective of many US companies in the coming decade is to become more globally focused. While many are still only thinking about how best to export products from a US manufacturing base, a few have ventured to sell technology to maximize the return of their total assets. Technology sales, guidelines to use in deciding whether to sell certain technology, and how to effectively conduct a technology sale are discussed
