Abstract
The charge and discharge currents and the thermally stimulated depolarization (TSD) currents of polypropylene (PP) films, charged in electrical fields in a wide temperature range were studied. The anomalous isothermal discharge currents and anomalous TSD currents were observed in films, polarized in high electrical fields. We suppose that anomalous effect in PP films could be due to injection of charge carriers (electrons and holes) from electrodes with the formation of two space charge clouds. The discharge currents measured in isothermal and nonisothermal conditions in PP films irradiated by an electron beam with energy 900 keV have been studied. The study of these characteristics can give additional information about anomalous processes in films
