Abstract
It is of interest to study the influence of charge carriers on ultrasonic properties of the Sn2P2(S,Se)6 family of crystals in order to understand the conditions in which high values of electromechanical coupling parameters can be obtained. The authors report results of the ultrasonic behaviour and acoustoelectric interaction phenomena related to the charge carrier density in crystals of Sn2P2S6 and Sn 2P2Se6
