Abstract :
Exploration and topographic surveillance of the territory are realistic demands for construction and mineral resources exploitation as well as for socio-economic development. Previous probes were implemented by using devices with a very high precision that were worn on a man. However, the probes that tend to be in different terrains such as mountains, highlands, remote areas, etc. are difficult and time consuming for human thus they often cost too much. In alternative way, explorations were performed by using a small airplane which is automatically or manually controlled, called an UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle). But the measure did not provide a high resolution in the exploration area since the airplane flies fast at a quite high altitude and it is not easy to change direction immediately. Therefore, we propose an unmanned airship system in conjunction with resources probe devices. The use of the unmanned airship creates favorable conditions, increases the efficiency of exploration and supports the exploitation of natural resources. This is a new approach to meet actual needs. In this paper, the embedded hardware and software system of the unmanned airship are designed and implemented.
