Abstract
A novel method for calculating the influence of an electromagnetic field to an implanted cardiac pacemaker (PMK) is presented. For this a detailed human body model is used with the implementation of every tissue as a dispersive dielectric material. This way enables the calculation of the off-load voltage at the PMK´s input over a wide frequency band within one simulation. A conclusion and an outlook to further studies is presented.
