Abstract :
We demonstrated a Gigabit/s system for 1mm POF. Optimized Discrete Multi-tone Modulation techniques enabled 1 Gbit/s using LEDs, and 1.5 Gbit/s using VCSELs, a capability that encourages POF´s use for next generation home networking.
