Abstract

The problems needing to be solved in Chinese railway e-business are presented by analyzing the bases of railway informatization and the actualities of railway e-business application. In order to settle those problems, a new strategic model based on spiral propulsion principle is given. The TMIS-based architecture, general technology platform and implementation framework of railway e-business are also presented. In the end, it is suggested that the building process of the e-business system be compartmentalized into three stages, and the target of each stage is defined.
